New York City-based DIY musician arrived at The 13th Floor Studios clutching her toy piano just hours after landing at Auckland airport. She’ll be performing at The Golden Dawn tonight and then spending the rest of the month touring New Zealand before returning to play Auckland’s Wine Cellar on March 22nd. Continue reading

Ghost Town, the band featuring Jed Town and Mark Beesley, celebrated the release of their new LP, Sky Is Falling, last night in Auckland. A few days earlier the entire band moved into The 13th Floor to record an extended video session. We’ll have the full session ready soon, in the meantime here they are performing Too High.
West Auckland trio The Nukes are about to release their new album, Three, this Friday. The band will be hitting the road covering most of New Zealand in the coming weeks.
